Friends:

in my first term as your congressman, I've explored every issue imaginable, from military strategy to the intersection of education and race to the intricacies of U.S. patent law.  Some of my priorities have included

• aggressive opposition to the war in Iraq,
  
• strong efforts to alleviate economic stress for low- and middle-income families,
• advocacy for the children who rely upon Georgia's critical PeachCare program,
• reduced student loan interest rates and increased funding of public education,
• staunch refusal to accept any disrespect for basic human rights on the part of our or any government.

Soon, I will post a detailed summary of my beliefs, record, and commitments on many of these and other crucial issues facing our country.  Stay tuned for that update.
